What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:

I wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember. There were brief deviations off that plan in elementary and middle school, but I always came back to being a physician.

I believe that the patient and I are a team in addressing their health concerns with open communication and mutual respect.

Shopping, traveling, medical missions work in Africa, scrapbooking, spending time at the pool, and reading
