What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:

In August of 1989, I was nearly killed in a four-wheeling accident in Colorado. After an 18 month period and through the aid and support of many tremendous physicians and nurses involved in my care, I was thankfully able to walk again. As a result of this incident, I learned many things that drew me closer in my relationship to Jesus Christ and incited my deep seated passion for serving others as a physician. I count it a privilege to serve you and your family to the best of my abilities as a family physician and by the grace of God.

My interests/hobbies:

Spending time with my beloved family; Participating in sports: playing and watching (especially college NCAA basketball – go KU) – swimming, soccer, hiking, bicycling in Johnson county and snow skiing.  I enjoy reading my Bible, thereby growing in the grace and knowledge of my Lord Jesus Christ.  I enjoy learning, especially about new scientific discoveries.
