What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:
I have always found the human body to be really fascinating so I enjoy trying to figure out what is going on with different disease processes and getting to be a part of that in people’s lives is such a privilege.
Core beliefs about practicing medicine:
I have learned to value education in the practice of medicine because when patients understand what is going on and how to fix it we can work together to achieve their best health.
My interests/hobbies:
I enjoy cycling, running, swimming, and anything outdoors. I love music and reading as well.
Family:
I am engaged to be married in fall of 2010 to Scott who is in vet school at Kansas State University so there is a good chance we will have pets at some point in the future.
My Favorite Personal Quote:
“It is worth living long enough to outlast whatever grievance you may acquire. Another reason why you must be careful of your health.” – Manilyne Robinson
