What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:
I’ve always been fascinated by the human body. Nothing held my attention more than anatomy and physiology.
Core beliefs about practicing medicine:
Family Medicine offers a unique opportunity to work with people and families of all ages; both as individuals or as a community for the improvement of their quality of life. My mission is to practice medicine in a way that will ensure open, effective communication with patients and provide them with the best medical care and knowledge available.
My interests/hobbies:
Scrapbooking, travel, biking, and reading
Family:
I’m married to David who does occupational therapy and home rehab. We have a young son, Grayson and another baby boy on the way in October 2010.
My Favorite Personal Quote:
“And this wise man asked me to stop. He said, “Stop asking God to bless what you’re doing. Get involved in what God is doing — because it’s already blessed.” – Bono
