What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:

I was very premature when I was born and was often ill as a child. I admired the physicians who took care of me and wanted to be like them when I grew up.

I am a firm believer that patients should take an active role in their healthcare decision making.

Photography, cooking/baking, and playing with my kids.
