What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:
As a child, my mom instilled in me the importance of healthy, balanced eating. Learning more about God’s intricate design of the human body fired my passion for understanding the power of food for healing and preventing disease.
Core beliefs about practicing medicine:
First and foremost, I care about the whole person. I strive to treat everyone with respect and compassion while empowering them with the knowledge to prevent or manage their condition. It is my desire to come alongside patients where they are and help them take practical steps toward change.
My interests/hobbies:
Church activities, kids’ activities, cooking and crafts with my kids, Bible study, and walking
Family:
I have been married to my husband for 14 years. We have four children – Mason, Avery, Ally and Annie. My husband is a pastor, so we are very active in the life of our church. Outside of church and kids’ activities, we enjoy family walks and bike rides, playing games, and family movie nights. Each summer, we spend precious time at the Kapple family cabin in Colorado.
My Favorite Personal Quote:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
