What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:

I enjoy making people feel better and helping them understand their diagnosis/treatment plan. I love working with kids and skin fascinates me. I learned about the physician assistant profession as a medical assistant in pediatrics during undergrad. I knew that is what I wanted to be.

Core beliefs about practicing medicine:

I enjoy explaining to patients their disease process in order to give them a better understanding of why I am treating their condition. I believe in offering multiple choices for medicine options if available and getting feedback from the patient as to which plan fits them.

My interests/hobbies:

Soccer, working out, cooking/baking, spending time with family, gardening, and traveling
