What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:

I always loved science and medicine. After five years in Hospital Administration, I went to Medical School. I landed in Family Practice because I liked to do everything in medicine, and Family Practice is so efficient.

Core beliefs about practicing medicine:

I’ve done many of the jobs my patients do and I’m old enough to have a number of their maladies. I’m a life coach and cheerleader for their best possible health and life.

My interests/hobbies:

Construction rehab, art projects, landscaping, hunting and adventuring, and motorcycles.

Family:

My wife, Carolyn, is a mother extraordinaire, family executive, teacher, administrator, and designer.  My daughter, Adrienne is also a M.D and specializes in  Emergency Medicine and my son, Randall, is a student Physician at KUMC.
