What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:

I initially went to school to become a bio engineer.  However, after completing medical school, I wanted to be more involved in patient care and decided to go into family medicine.

Core beliefs about practicing medicine:

I believe that as a family physician, I should minister to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of my patients.

My interests/hobbies:

I love spending time with family, weekly date nights with my wife at the movies, watching “The Teaching Company” DVDs on mathematics and science and daily walking/jogging.

Family:

My wife, Susan, has a B.S. in nursing and enjoys decorating.  We have three beautiful daughters, Shana, who has a MS degree in Physical Therapy, Jodie who has a MS degree in Human Resources and Ariana who is a Montesorri and gymnastics teacher.  Our daughters have blessed us with seven grandchildren.
