What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:

Since elementary school I have felt called into medicine and have enjoyed caring for people.

Core beliefs about practicing medicine:

I enjoy the relationships formed when taking care of my patients. I like to learn more about them than just their health status. This enables me to care for their physical, emotional and spiritual health.

My interests/hobbies:

My free time goes toward spending time with my wife and six children at church activities, sports, hunting and fishing.

Family:

My wife, Lee Ann, enjoys home schooling our six children and being able to stay home with them using her gifts as a mother and nurturer. Our children are very active in sports, Christian Youth Theater, scouts and church activities. The kids enjoy taking care of our animals: 2 dogs, 4 snakes, a bunny and a frog.
