What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:
God called me to be a doctor when I was in 9th grade.
Core beliefs about practicing medicine:
I believe that people are ultimately responsible for their own health. I am very big on healthy diet and exercise. I usually give patients options to choose from for their health care.
My interests/hobbies:
I am the department director for the Young Adult Sunday School Department for our church and, I enjoy making healthy food taste great!
Family:
My husband is a counselor currently working for Hickman Mills alternative school. My daughter is married and lives in Austin, Texas. My son is starting his 6th year at KU with a double major in economics and mathematics. And, I have one old cat.
