What got me interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field:
When I was in the Boy Scouts, I liked the medical merit badges the best, then as I found out more about medicine, I liked helping in the care of people.

- It is about the patient, not the doctor.
- Everyone deserves a chance to tell their story; it is my job to listen.
- God is the healer, I am a humble instrument in his hands.
