Primary Care Nurse

At College Park Family Care Center, we provide quality patient care in a caring environment. As a primary care nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in patient care through your communication, treatment, and nursing skill.

The primary care position involves: coordinating the provider’s patient flow, supervising support staff, and acting as a liaison between the patient and provider. Additionally, you will be responsible for answering phone calls, and assisting with a wide variety of procedures. Since College Park is a family practice clinic, you will handle a wide range of patient concerns every day.

One of the advantages of being a primary care nurse at College Park Family Care Center is that you will be able to utilize a broad range of your nursing skills from patient assessment to technical procedures. These can range from a well-baby exam to a total colonoscopy involving conscious sedation, but each position varies in its responsibilities.

The majority of our primary care positions are Monday-Friday days, but we do provide urgent care hours Monday-Friday evenings, and Saturdays and Sundays, which we ask our primaries to cover occasionally. There are a few positions where urgent care is required one evening per week.

If ACLS certification is required for the position College Park will schedule and be financially responsible for the training course.

College Park provides a competitive benefits package and a family friendly work environment.
